The Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, MI

It started operating in 1968, located at the northwestern corner of 28th Street and East Beltline Avenue in Kentwood, Michigan. It is an enclosed super-regional mall that comprises over 100 tenants with three major anchor stores: Macy’s, JCPenny, and Von Maur. They also have their junior anchor stores: The North Face, Barnes & Noble, H&M, Pottery Barn, and Forever 21. You can also check out local stores like Spencers at the Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids.

Its cinema house was home to a movie theater that started as Cinemark, purchased later by Celebration Cinema, and unfortunately, it closed in 2020. But, Phoenix Theatres had announced that they would be opening a brand new theater at Woodland Mall to replace Celebration Cinema’s Cinemark.

Located on the west side of Grand Rapids in Grandville, it is the centerpiece of a bustling shopping area. It has 120 shops and restaurants, including its anchor stores like Kohl’s, Macy’s, JCPenny, and Dick’s Sporting Goods and famous stores like Pandora, Aerie, Eddie Bauer, and Barnes & Noble.

Green Ridge Square

It is a shopping center with Bed Bath and Beyond brands, Best Buy, Burlington Coat Factory, Lane Bryant, Michaels, and Target. It also has its very own AMC Theater with reclining seats for entertainment. Store hours may vary.

It’s the only West Michigan village mall with these types of shops.

It changed the game for shopping centers for West Michigan residents when it opened in August of 2015. Since then, it has become the resident’s must-stop destination, local or foreign, seeking great deals on designer gear every season. It’s situated 15 minutes south of downtown Grand Rapids in Byron Center.

The Village at Knapp’s Crossing

This village is located 15 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and five minutes from Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.
